Access to modern educational technologies in schools is extremely important for increasing the effectiveness of taught classes and supporting young people in their digital development. Prologis helps educational institutions and students achieve these aims by engaging in the life of local communities.

We have therefore funded an 80-inch interactive monitor for Primary School No. 18 with Integration Departments in Chorzów. The monitor will be used by students in grades 1-3. It will help make learning more interesting and effective by facilitating use of the most modern methods for conducting classes.

“We are truly grateful for the funding of this much-needed educational tool. I would like to thank the Parents’ Council under the leadership of Marcin Razidło for taking up this initiative and bringing it to fruition. The monitor will not only facilitate more effective teaching, but also create new opportunities to engage students. It is also wonderful that, thanks to Prologis, we now have the opportunity to develop digital skills among the youngest pupils in our school,” says Joanna Piećko-Szopińska, Headteacher of Primary School No. 18 with Integration Departments in Chorzów.

The new monitor allows users to create and share a variety of educational materials, such as e-books, videos, multimedia presentations, interactive applications, and more. This helps students benefit from a wide variety of learning tools and techniques tailored to their individual needs and learning style.

“Primary School No. 18 with Integration Departments in Chorzów plays an important role in our local community, ensuring high quality education for children with various needs. We are proud to support their mission and contribute to the development of modern educational infrastructure,” says Renata Kocemba, Marketing & Communications Manager Central Europe at Prologis.

Such initiatives are an important part of the implementation of Prologis’ ESG strategy, which focuses on involvement in the life of local communities where the company operates. Key to this project was the provision of a monitor for a facility promoting equal access to education, especially for marginalized groups and students with special educational needs. Supporting this primary school in Chorzów is particularly important for Prologis due to the company’s ongoing and significant presence in Upper Silesia. In this region, Prologis offers almost 460,000 square meters of modern warehouse space located in four distribution parks.

Whether it’s responsible business, digital solutions, or community support, growth is... Made in Prologis.
