Arvato, a leader in end-to-end outsourcing solutions for supply chain management, has extended its warehouse lease agreement at Prologis Park Blonie, increasing its warehouse space by an additional 8,900 sqm.
The expanded cooperation will create 70 new jobs.
Arvato's warehouse at Prologis Park Blonie has so far delivered medical devices to nearly 60 countries using sea, air and road transport. Now the company will additionally serve a new customer, delivering pharmaceutical products worldwide.
Arvato, a leader in end-to-end outsourcing solutions for supply chain management for e-commerce and healthcare, has renewed its contract and leased an additional 8,900 sqm in building DC7 at Prologis Park Blonie. Arvato's total leased space in the facility is now 14,200 sqm. The expansion will create 70 new jobs and serve pharmaceutical customers even more efficiently. The deal is part of a long-standing cooperation between Arvato and Prologis. The company leases more than 42,500 sq m of warehouse space in four locations in Poland from the global leader in logistics real estate.
Arvato's warehouse at Prologis Park Blonie has been fully adapted to the needs of a new customer from the pharmaceutical sector, providing appropriate conditions for the storage and transport of medical goods in accordance with the strict standards of the industry. Among other things, it has implemented solutions to ensure that the temperature is maintained at a constant 15-25°C. The warehouse has also been equipped with a unique office flood protection system and an advanced fire protection system. Thanks to the use of modern technologies, such as energy-efficient LED lighting and intelligent light management systems, energy consumption has been reduced in the warehouse.
