Customer News
Prologis has signed a lease for 6,000 square meters of premium logistics space at Prologis Park Prague D1-Ostředek with a global consumer goods company. With only limited modern and sustainable space still available, this latest lease underscores the enduring appeal of the greater Prague area as a top-tier location for logistics operations. Further expansion of the logistics park is possible on approximately 26,000 square meters of developable land located directly adjacent to the existing facilities. The site is primarily intended for build-to-suit projects and allows for the development of two separate building.
The leased space in Building DC3 will be tailored to the customer’s specific operational needs. This includes Advanced Supply Chain and Technology Integration (ASTI) enhancements and the construction of a dedicated ADR warehouse for hazardous liquids. The customer will also benefit from the Prologis Essentials platform, including an allowance for a new racking system installation.
Prologis Park Prague D1-Ostředek is the company’s newest logistics park in the Czech portfolio, created in response to growing demand for modern, sustainable logistics space in the Greater Prague area. As part of the site’s second development phase, Building DC2 has already been fully leased to dm drogerie markt Czech Republic, and with this latest deal, Building DC3 is now 80% occupied.
Just 30 minutes from Prague, the logistics park offers direct access to the D1 motorway, providing outstanding connectivity across the Czech Republic and beyond. The park’s buildings are built with sustainability in mind, featuring LED lighting with motion and daylight sensors, efficient heat pumps to reduce reliance on fossil fuels in both warehouse and office spaces, and BREEAM “Very Good” certification. All buildings also include solar-ready infrastructure for future energy upgrades and thanks to the Essentials Platform, customers have access to a range of modern sustainable and high-tech solutions for their everyday operations. Following this latest lease, just 6,000 square meters of premium, sustainable space remains available in Building DC3.
“With Prologis Park Prague D1-Ostředek, we set a new benchmark for logistics real estate in the Czech market,” said Anna Jůzová, Senior Leasing Manager Prologis Czech Republic, adding: “Customers are drawn not only by the park’s excellent connectivity, but also by its ability to support efficient, future-ready, and environmentally responsible operations. Its rapid lease-up reflects its value to to-day’s forward-looking businesses. We currently have the last remaining ready-to-lease space available. For clients seeking build-to-suit solutions, approximately 26,000 square meters of land is available right next to the existing development—suitable for two separate buildings—and we are ready to get started on a new project.”
