Over 130 participants, 14 teams, and spirited competition played in the true spirit of fair play – that’s the short summary of the record-breaking third edition of the Prologis Tournament for the Naviki Cup, held on June 5 at Prologis Park Łódź. The multifunctional pitch brought together employees from companies based in the Prologis parks in Łódź, business partners, real estate advisory representatives, and a team representing Prologis. After a fierce and emotional competition, the team of Fire Brigade emerged victorious after a decisive final match against the team of GXO I. Third place was taken by Casto Piekarnia.
The tournament unfolded under the watchful gaze of Naviki the mermaid, who smiles down from a mural that greets employees and guests at Prologis Park Łódź. Once again, the event highlighted that Prologis logistics parks are not just about logistics—they’re vibrant communities where relationships are built and extraordinary initiatives take place.
“The tournament’s atmosphere was incredible—you could feel the positive energy in the air. Fans with vuvuzelas, kids going wild on inflatable attractions, the smell of a barbecue, and laughter from the relaxation zone. That day, logistics took a backseat to emotions, shared moments, and the joy of being together. This tournament is much more than a sporting event. It’s an opportunity to grow the special Prologis community in Łódź. The fact that we see not only familiar faces returning year after year, but also more and more new participants, is the best confirmation of that,” said Michał Stankiewicz, Senior Development Manager at Prologis and host of the event.
Group Matches, Knockout Rounds, and Good Vibes
Teams competed in both group stages and knockout rounds, playing fast-paced, 10-minute matches. While trophies and awards awaited the best players, they weren’t the main attraction—what mattered most was the sense of togetherness, good energy, and shared experiences.
As players battled it out for every goal on the field, the youngest guests enjoyed animations, inflatable games, and sweet treats, while adults relaxed in the shade of parasols, taking in the event’s unique atmosphere.
A Pitch Between Warehouses
The 3rd Prologis Football Tournament for the Naviki Cup was held on a modern, multifunctional sports field located at Prologis Park Łódź—a space that supports logistics operations year-round, but once a year transforms into a venue for sport, connection, and celebration. The tournament has now become a permanent feature of the park’s annual calendar, attracting more participants with every edition.
In addition to teams representing businesses located in the Łódź Prologis parks, the event also welcomes their families, Prologis’ business partners, companies collaborating with park clients, and representatives from real estate consultancy firms.
PARKlife™: A Game-Changer for Workplace Wellbeing
The multifunctional pitch—adapted for football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis—is available to all customers of the Łódź Prologis parks and forms part of the PARKlife™ program. This initiative aims to create more welcoming and functional workspaces that support relaxation, integration, and physical activity.
But PARKlife™ is more than just sports facilities. It includes relaxation zones with tables, loungers, parasols, and benches; greenery like shrubs, trees, and wildflower meadows; beehives, shelters for hedgehogs, insect hotels, bicycle shelters with repair stations, outdoor libraries stocked with bestsellers, and electric vehicle charging points.
The project also features regular, free initiatives that promote an active and healthy lifestyle—such as a nationwide health awareness and prevention campaign and seasonal bike servicing events.
