International Courier Company to Transform Prague´s Chrastany Into an Urban Logistics Hub
Exciting new developments are coming in Prague! A major international courier delivery services company will relocate its Prague logistics operations to a built-to-suit development in a completely new Prologis park at Chrastany.
The new customer will move into 12,000 sqm of new logistics space tailored to its needs to ensure maximum business and operational efficiency. The company will also benefit from the range of innovative solutions enjoyed as standard by all Prologis customers, such as smart metering systems and LED lighting throughout. Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the lease.
Prologis Park Prague-Chrastany, located in western Prague, is an exciting new spot on the Czech logistics map. The park will provide incredible access to the capital, being situated right next to a highway leading into the city and very close to metro line. This connectivity will make it one of the Czech Republic’s optimal last-mile logistics bases.
Alongside this new building for the well-known international courier and delivery services company, Prologis Park Prague-Chrastany has room for one more building of approximately 15,000 sqm.
“We are proud to welcome a major international logistics company to a new home in our brand-new park,” says Martin Balaz, Vice President, Country Manager Czech Republic and Slovakia. “With its high demands on last-mile delivery potential and operational efficiency, our new customer’s choice confirms the excellent potential for Prologis Park Prague-Chrastany. We are looking forward to seeing the facility develop, and we’re eager to continue providing all the support needed once the move is complete.”
Prologis Park Prague-Chrastany is one of the region’s most exciting logistics developments, and we can’t wait to see its first customer bring the hustle and bustle of a happy operational environment to the location this summer. Whether it’s a great location, enhanced efficiency, or a happy workforce, advantage is… Made in Prologis.
