Introducing our newest innovation enhancing quality of life at Prologis parks! BOOK BOX encourages book sharing among customers and their employees as part of our PARKlife initiative. PARKlife is already familiar to Prologis park users through elements such as green areas for rest and recreation, electric car charging stations, bike shelters, public transport stops, and a wide range of other services intended to boost the experience of all who use our logistics centers.
“At Prologis, we offer much more than warehouses alone. We want our customers' employees to come to work with smiles on their faces, and to feel comfortable and happy in our parks. With this in mind, we are constantly introducing new services to boost their well-being. These new open-air libraries are being implemented to encourage another kind of relaxation and rest,” says Marta Glinka, Real Estate & Customer Experience Lead Director Prologis.
Over 150 books have so far been placed in the boxes, stylized as classic green English telephone booths at Prologis parks in Poland. The first stage of the program saw boxes installed in common areas in parks at Warsaw-Żerań, Wrocław III and Chorzów, with more boxes soon to be introduced at Ruda Śląska and Gliwice. Books can be borrowed from the boxes free of charge, and the book collection will be continuously supplemented by Prologis with new, popular titles.
