This is what making a positive impact on the environment looks like in practice: for our parks throughout Poland, we have purchased over 107,000 guarantees of origin for energy from renewable sources. This means that, starting in January 2021, our customers are actively supporting the production of green energy while conducting their business in Prologis properties: over 80 buildings, on an area of 1.7 million square meters!

Limiting carbon footprints is also important for our customers, which is why we have taken joint action to make it easier for them. We have contracted over 107,000 MWh of energy with guarantees of origin for our customers throughout the year, promoting the production and consumption of energy from wind, solar and hydropower plants. By using energy with guarantees of origin, our customers are also involved in supporting the development of renewable energy in Poland. Guarantees of origin for energy are used extensively throughout the European Union.
The seller of energy for Prologis parks is TAURON, the second largest producer and supplier of energy on the Polish market.
