Prologis has been named a Friendly Workplace 2021! The distinction is awarded annually to companies that support their employees across a range of fields, including helping them maintain a healthy work-life balance, creating a positive working environment, fostering good relations with employees, and investing in their professional development.

The award judges expressed particular appreciation for Prologis' involvement in a range of activities aimed at ensuring a proper work-life balance and employee well-being during the pandemic..

During the last year, we have focused on counteracting the negative effects of the pandemic for our employees, and we continue to develop these projects. As part of the Employee and Their Family support program, we offer access to independent advisors who can help in many aspects of everyday life – from psychological support, through help in finding childcare, to financial and legal consultations. External Health Advocate specialists ensure complete confidentiality and provide assistance in the form most convenient for the person seeking support.

Another element which we introduced to help employees maintain harmony and regain their energy while working remotely for many months is our pan-European "Recharge" program led by external specialists. Here, our employees can share their knowledge and skills during weekly online wellbeing sessions.

Our employees can also continuously develop their competences and interests thanks to our e-learning platform offering hundreds of courses in various fields of knowledge. Moreover, our newest coaching platform, BetterUp, was launched in the spring. This offers employees the ability, together with their managers, to make even better decisions about the next stages of their development path.

At Prologis, we have always allowed flexible working hours, with employees able to adapt as much as possible to suit their individual needs. This model is efficient, and in line with our culture of inclusion and understanding.

The "Friendly Workplace" title is awarded to a select group of companies each year by experts from the editorial board of Marek Employer. The competition assesses companies’ initiatives across five criteria in detail: relations with employees, professional and personal development, work life balance, a healthy work environment, and offered benefits.
