Warehouse of the Year

We have just celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Eurobuild Awards Gala, where over 200 industry experts gathered to recognize the companies and buildings that made the most significant impact on the Polish real estate market in 2019. However, Eurobuild Awards are not only made based on the votes of jury members; there are also six categories in which the tenants have their say.

Prologis had especial reason to be proud this year, as one of our parks was chosen as the best by customers – the most important jurors in the industry. The Warehouse of the Year Award went to Prologis Park Błonie!

The winning Park Błonie is the oldest park in Prologis’ portfolio in Poland. It is a place that has transformed from a standard logistics space into a genuine community in just a few years. This would not have been possible without the work of many people and the commitment of the park’s facility manager – Anna Zoń, Prologis’ youngest property manager.

Every inch a Warehouse of the Year

The ranking for the best warehouses was based on a Eurobuild survey carried out among over 1,000 tenants at 22 Polish logistics parks. According to those surveyed, the most important features of parks are the attractiveness of the location and lease costs, followed by the technical quality of buildings, available amenities and the overall infrastructure. The customers rated their occupied space by answering 30 various questions about key aspects of their logistic facilities.

Prologis Park Błonie received the highest total score after being rated in a range of specific categories, including

  • competence and effectiveness of facility management
  • integration of the park’s community and care for customer interests
  • clear and transparent lease calculation
  • improvements made to the warehouse and entire park during the lease period
  • facility’s condition and technical infrastructure
  • general safety
  • access to qualified employees.

Recipe for success? Focus on customer

Our formula for success in the tenant awards category is no secret: “I take an individual approach to every customer, regardless of how many square meters they lease. I visit my tenants at least once a week because meetings and conversations are the best way to nurture relationships and address issues head on,” explains Anna Zoń, property manager at Prologis Park Błonie.

“A customer-centric approach fosters dialogue and enhances tenants’ openness to adaptation and changes, which in turn facilitate everyday warehouse operations. Of course, I am strongly in favor of tools that deliver automated management processes, but you cannot deny the benefits of direct communication with customers,” she adds.

Receiving the Eurobuild Warehouse of the Year Award is a big vote of confidence and the ultimate expression of our tenants’ satisfaction with everything that is Made in Prologis. Each day we do our best to serve our customers and help them succeed – and such a strong partnership is the real source of motivation for us.
