Bidfood Farutex, an important supplier of products for the catering industry, has become the first tenant at the largest speculative building in the history of Prologis. From August 2023, Farutex will occupy 9,795 sqm at Prologis Park Wrocław III. This is not the company’s first collaboration with Prologis, as it has occupied 4,811 sqm in a neighboring building at the park since 2011. 

“Our dynamic development makes it necessary to increase our warehouse space. We decided to continue our cooperation with Prologis by moving to a new building and doubling our leased space. This is an effective solution for us due to both the strategic location of the warehouse, and Prologis’ openness to our needs and provision of various amenities for our employees,” says Łukasz Tuz, Regional Director at Bidfood, about the continuation of cooperation.

The new speculative DC4 building is a state-of-the-art warehouse and production hall with an area of ​​49,000 m2. Its advantages are not only a great location close to the airport and the Wrocław ring road, with easy access to public transport, but also the functionality of the facility and a wide range of services for employees. 

As the largest speculative warehouse in Prologis’ history, DC4 has a clear floor height of 12 m, reinforced floor load-bearing capacity, and external insulation of the hall's wall and roof. The construction, like all new Prologis buildings, has been BREEAM accredited. 

The building features high-quality LED lighting systems with motion sensors which can operate in accordance with the needs of the customer, based on lighting indicators. It is also equipped with skylights and window panels providing up to 12.5% natural daylight in interior spaces, as well as photovoltaic panels and solar collectors on the exterior.
