We’re thrilled to announce that the newest park in our Hungarian portfolio, Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget II, has been extended with the purchase of an additional nineteen hectares of continuous land area. Located just seventeen kilometres south of Budapest city center in the area of Szigetszentmiklós, next to the M0 motorway, 80,000 square meters of potential development area are still available for prospective customers at the park.
"Thanks to this transaction, Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget II now has a total construction capacity of 140,000 square meters, of which 27,000 square meters are already under construction. We have a building permit for the entire area, so there are no obstacles to further developments," says Máté Szoboszlay, Director of Capital Deployment in Prologis Hungary.
The ideal location of the park was highlighted by a high level of interest: the first phase of the development found a tenant before the construction was even complete.
