As the saying goes “sound mind, sound body” and in the spirit of healthy competition, on September 13 we organised a special edition of Runmageddon dedicated to Prologis’ friends. The event in Gdańsk was attended by Polish industrial real estate agents, who were put to a hard test on a special obstacle course. It was a true test of our strength and character!
Finishing Runmageddon requires unusual sports flair, strength and readiness to constantly overcome your limits. If you decide to start in this obstacle course race, be ready to face endless amounts of sand, water and conditions which will surely shape your character. Contrary to the standard definition, Runmageddon is a festival of teamwork and joint problem solving. It was a true pleasure to do it with the PRO crew.
Kalashnikov, vulcanizer’s nightmare or flying monkey... the 6 km course prepared especifically for Prologis included as many as 30 unusual obstacles. Despite going through the blood, sweat and tears on the course, all participants reached the finish line with great satisfaction and big smiles on their faces. There was at least as much joy as water during the 1 km section in the sea! Paulina Kozłowska and Joanna Sinkiewicz representing Cushman & Wakefield took two first awards among women and Agnieszka Bober from Prologis came in third. In the male competition, the first place honors went to Kamil Szymański from Savills. Tomasz Gnich from BNP Paribas Real Estate came in second and Mateusz Iłowiecki from JLL took the third place on the podium.
All the participants in this year’s event agreed that the decision to enter in the race had required a lot of courage. But there is strength in numbers! Team motivation galvanised everyone, providing the strength and power necessary to overcome any individual weaknesses.
This year’s Runmageddon was a great warm-up for the next sporting challenge we are preparing for you next year! Are you brave enough to accept the challenge?
