As the largest developer of logistics and industrial real estate in Central and Eastern Europe, Prologis knows that its buildings and parks make a huge impact on the communities in which they are located and on the people who work inside of them. Encouraging and nurturing healthy lifestyles is an important part of serving all stakeholders, and Prologis has built relaxation zones at selected logistics parks across CEE.
These areas—comprising five-a-side football pitches, beach volleyball courts, grills and CrossFit zones—can be used by employees and clubs and as space to host sporting events throughout the year.
One of those events is the Prologis annual five-a-side football tournament, which brings together dedicated players and fans. The fourth edition took place on 22 September 2017 at the recently opened recreation park in Prologis Park Budapest-Gyal, the second location after Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor, where a five-a-side football pitch and a spacious community area were built to encourage people to enjoy sports, picnics and relaxation.
The 2017 tournament featured a record 12 teams and was won by Inter Cars Hungary, followed by Brendon in second place and Europapier (alias Papírkutyák) in third place.
